Thumb Good on ya Sean-O

G'day Sean-O,
As you know, my little girls think you're funny as!
When you came around that day I thought that you were a top bloke, and in that short time that we spoke over a beer you did talk about your son.
I could feel the pride then. And rightly so.

Congratulations to you as a family for achieving a great result in bringing up a fine young man.

Cheers,
Rob

Good on ya Sean and Zach, some of my fondest and funniest memories are my time with the army as a Diesel Mech. Good on him, the adventure is just beginning.

All the best Lads

Zach, if a uniformed person comes up and asks if anyone has a motorcycle license, say NO.

It is not what it seems.

Well some small news on my best mate's basic training for our Armed Force's

He has been given his gun a few weeks back ..no ammo actually probably a good idea

he's fired a few rounds ..did a lil better than average ...by no far in the top ten he say's .."there bloody good shot's dad" He recons

He's up the lead pack on the run's but still not up there ....he's a large man so i can see why

They call him Tim Tam .....he said dont ask why ? cant wait for that story

He did tell me he had a grabber try to pull him under ..twice when they had to tread water with full kit .... his senior told him "Next time they grab ya zacc punch him right in the nose" ...Apparently no one's grabbed at him since

But there has been some bad new's ......Zac has stress change's in his shin's ?
and his legs have swollen .....He has been placed in hospital and has to stay of his legs for 4 weeks ...He is devastated.....It means he cant march out with his training buddys in the beginning of August

But Like a trooper he's looked on the bright side and said he's gunna kick ass in his chair and work on his upper body strength...he told me "its a good time to get fit dad"

he's already built like a brick shithouse

so it means his training is on hold for a month or so and there taking good care of him

I miss Mate

Which leg?

Not a trick question. I had problems from driving my right leg down to the ground too enthusiastically with all the shun and unshun training during the parade ground drill practice. Something to look out for.

My brother spent 20yrs as a grunt. 15 in the Commandos and loved every minute of it.

Good choice of career.
