Abs fixed by tyler at module master
Big update ***fixed by tyler at module master***
Well here's my big update...Tyler at Module Master (www.modulemaster.com) started to work on BMW early ABS units and became pretty good with repairing them... He wanted to start working and be able to fix servo motor ABS- I-ABS, Integrated ABS, also known as ABS-III- which is the type used on my 2005 1200 GS... Well guess what after much trial and error and sourcing of parts Tyler worked through a lot of tough issues and FIXED IT!!! Wow we have a place to send these now to be repaired...Got the Pressure Modulator back . Steve my BMW mechanic put it in and have put close to 200 miles on it ...NO ISSUES.... Take a look at their web site and see what other car fixes they do ,some amazing stuff... Also if you have any ABS units laying around that you may have replaced ..send them out to Tyler , they need parts and cores because they can't be sourced anywhere...Finally an alternative to paying the Fatherland $2,400...Please post this where other BMW owners can see ...Thanks Pat

__________________ Pat from Joisey

Tyler is great. He rebuilt my ABS-2 unit a month ago and the cost, $250, is a little less than the $2200 that BMW wanted. Module Master's warranty is also 5 years which is much longer than BMW. He had gone through a little trial and error prior to my unit but had if figured out before I sent it to them. The turn around was very quick as well. Module Master is a great resource.

help other poor inmates that can't pay $2,400 for a new one and have them fix it for reasonable amount of money...$200-$400 depending on problems...or send it out get an estimate and have an extra or sell it...call they may give you a few bucks for the core...Possibilities are endless!!

Talked to Tyler at www.modulemaster.com he said they were getting in a lot of units to fix. Although they are sourcing parts for all the different variants of BMW ABS systems they can still use donor units and are even willing to pay for them ! Just e-mail Tyler at tyler@modulemaster.com and tell him what you have...If so inclined you can donate them also...I know a couple of other people have. They module master pass the savings along...pretty reasonable and a 5 year warranty!!!

My unit is still working great after a 7400 mile trip to Honduras and back. It worked on the thousands of topes (speed bumps) I went over during the trip It went through a hurricane in Mexico and the 120 degree heat we have where I live. I am sure that it will still be working 5 years from now without having to send in for warranty work. I am a very happy customer.

I have little to say

ABS III repair? It was a matter of time before MM got this sorted.
If it can be built, it can be repaired. |
