Dang. Checking to see where the VA and WV tags are...

Let me know when you're heading back. I'll be between Christiansburg and Blacksburg tomorrow night and heading back around noon or so on Sunday.

All my camping gear fits in there quite nicely. Thank you. I've got lots of these. The stack well too. Gets a little top heavy tho.

Next time you find yourself in Roanoke and need sleeping quarters shoot me a pm. Always happy to help out a fellow rider. The dog will bark at you, but she shuts up after you scratch her behind the ears.

Nice grab wolf. That is some sweet top box you've got.
It's pretty funny that after all this time, there is was so much activity this weekend on this tag. I'm betting that the Dragon moves to warmer/flatter climes....

looking for people to ride with in tennessee, specifically i live in knoxville. I have been riding 3 years and have yet to go to the gap. I have been to foothills parkway many many times and see dual sports all the time. Looking to find some people to ride with. Would be awesome to organize a ride. PM me if you're interested!

BMW Riders Of Knoxville has club rides very often (i'm not a member but know quite a few) and they aren't bike snobs

DualSport Touring in Friendsville is a great place to meet other riders (Workerant aka Megan and Gaprunner aka Francious are the owners)
Tellico Moto Outfitters is another great spot to meet other riders (MiniMike is the owner)

New Tag.. Broken Arrow
This is the area where a B52 carrying 2 nuclear bombs crashed in 1961.
I rode all the paved roads in the area looking for the fenced off area owned by the air force without seeing it. I did find this piece of air force hardware tho.

You will need to beat big daddy's three aces to find it.

Here is another clue.. pic. The tag is the unmanned plane.

I don't like cluttering up the thread with more confusing pics but I am going to post a few. My brother was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB. In 1980-81. He was the crew chief on a KC 135 tanker back then. I visited him on base and we spent a day climbing around inside and outside the planes. One of them was a B52. We sat in the pilot's seats and walked out on the wings. His view of a B52 in flight was probably like this

I also knew a Mr Upton who flew B52's over Vietnam.

Not the grab!!

I got Bruced at this location in the NC game a while back.

The thing is an early version of a cruise missle (TM-61 Madator). What I found more interesting is where it is at.

I was thinking it was an NC tag at one point, but I have been known to be wrong once or twice... an hour
