Then I may be in if I can get Friday off, if that's okay with you.

That's a highly developed skill. Not just anyone can do it with skill and precision.

That I know. I for one would have ended up wrapped around a tree.

2fast,
We have plenty of room, so please join us.
Ryan,
Sounds good. Let's talk closer to the event, so we can figure out things.

Looks like getting Friday off isn't going to happen. Maybe I can ride down with you, Ryan and ride back on Sunday with the group?

Who's in?
I might be down for a night or two. Anyone interested in Monarch Crest?

I think we rode together at the BreckTrek in the short bus crowd, right? I'm about as green as you are. Monarch Crest is single track, largely above treeline. I've ridden it several times on my mountain bike and have always wanted to do it via MC. It's pretty easy. I can only think of one semi difficult section, but it's only a mile or so long. Seems like a 650 should be able to handle it.

Here are some details: http://www.fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/fs...+Monarch+Crest

Yep, I am shortest of the short bus crowd and was the only KLR on the trip. Let me think about this. If it was just me, I was said hell yeah, but I am not saying no way either
