2013 Georgia Mountain Rally May 3-5

Spring is here and so is the fabulous Georgia Mountain Rally (21st year).

We have the steaks ready, the band tuned up,and a host of great vendors waiting for you!

World class riding surrounds this rally. Snake, Dragon, Cherhola Skyway. You make the call. Dual Sport rides too.

To our guests from NY, PA, MD, NJ, OH, MO,and others, we are full on for the first weekend in May: Friday, May 3rd - Sunday, May 5th.

I rode down from NJ last year by way of the SLD, BRP and the dragon. Well run and a great location. The cook your own steak was cool also. Great vendors and nice people. I can not attend this year as I am heading to the RA rally, but next year for sure.

Went for the first time last year, had a great time....Ill be back this year for sure

I'm leading two different adventure rides, one on Friday, the second on Saturday.

The Friday ride will only be a couple hours, and depending on the crowd, we'll either take the easy way or the harder way....

On Saturday, it will be a 6-ish hour ride, with lunch. All easy, and some locals-only trails.

I need help picking up bikes (aka sweeping) as I am getting to old to do that anymore.

Can you give us an idea of where you're gonna ride and when you will leave, Ian? Are KTM's allowed?

I'd also consider going if Yamaha's were allowed.

Last year was my first GMR also - My wife & I had fun except for the guy next to our tent who was snoring really loud and the drunk bitch who kept talking loud and laughing really loud until 2:30 in the morning.

I think if we go this year, we'll be staying in a hotel or B&B

It is a MC rally. I don't think they have quite time..

Standard rally hazard. A good set of earplugs will solve that problem.

Enjoyed the poker run last year.
