Side stand relocaters
Have been reading the posts on the Blackdog side stand mod and the CJ Designs mod. Two distinctly different designs. What is your opinion on the better design for my 990? I am thinking about the Blackdog skid plate as well. Your thoughts and experience are appreciated.

I installed the BD Skidplate & sidestand relocator- both VERY strong.
Haven't see the CJ Designs relocator so I can't comment on it.

Cost differences
Thanks for the comments. Does the CJ have almost $50.00 more benefit than the BD design in your opinion?

I have the new CJ Designs on order. Hopefully arrives in the next few weeks. I'm not sure if the BDCW puts the stand in the same position as the CJD piece, but I am going to be very happy to have the shifter out of the way of the side stand so I can finally install my Hammerhead Shifter.

+1 for BD. Can't remember why I ultimately picked it but it does as advertised.

The CJ is completely off of the engine and bolted to the frame with a beefy steel bracket. The BD is a slick setup near the stock mount, lighter and less in your face. Either choice will save your arse in the event of a serious smack to the belly. Important thing is to pick one and get it on there before something nasty happens.
