Interesting - any news on release date?

mine does not go over and I also need a large washer with the supplied nut to secure the screen. the hole in the screen that the bolt goes through is too large for the supplied hardware.
zip ties work fine, though.

The rad protector is not meant to be used with the stock screen, our rad screen is designed to fit right over it it.

Our protector does re-enforce the tags, it take as much stress back towards the engine bolts instead of loading up the radiator.

Adam, can you confirm your statement? The product info in the store states "This laser-cut 2mm stainless-steel Radiator Protector is designed to protect the radiator, but also has our unique design of attaching the OEM radiator screen and side panel screws to it,therefore removing the possibility of any damage being caused to the radiator in the event of a fall,or overtightening the M6 rad screen screws that fix into the top of the OEM radiator, resulting in a leak."

Looking at adding this, but didn't have your screen factored in.

Would it be safe to say that if you install a set of the front RR tanks you won't need any sort of radiator protectors for crash protection since the tanks pretty much cover them in the even of a fall-over or crash?

Not true, I have crashed hard enough with the RR tanks that the radiator sprang a leak, tanks did not get damaged though.

Scott's mount

Can your Billet Bar Risers be mounted in either bar mount location (fore or aft) on the 690's stock triple clamp using the same arm on a scott's stabilizer?

Can you confirm if your rad guard (not screen) fits the 2012 690 ER? Also looking for confirmation that it works, or not with the OEM screen or if a RR screen is required. Me and another 690 owner are looking to order rad guards, his would be a 2011, same question as asked by blakrj, does the OEM screen fit on the 2011 with the RR rad guards?
Cheers,

Thanks Thorin! Was it an easy fit or did it take some patience? Nice to know it fits with the OEM screen. Now to find out if it fits a 2011 and maybe I can empty out the wallet for some RR stuff to be shipped to Canada.

Wait I think we are talking past each other.

The RR protector (frame that goes around the radiator) does not fit the oem screen. Even though they DO advertise this.
I had to zip tie my plastic oem screen on to the protector.
Seems ok, though. Check out my earlier post with the pic.

The RR rad protector has the benefit of working with the RR gas tanks.

The fit wasnt bad, just be sure to keep everything loose. I had to force the plastic fairing on, but it's fine. I popped the rubber mounts off because they are not needed anymore.
