BMW Navigator II: using gps coordinates

Fellow riders,

Does anyone out there know how to enter gps coordinates into the BMW Nav II? I've had this unit for a short while now, can't believe that I haven't tried this earlier. In any case, if I want to "go to" or "find" a location using gps coordinates, how do I do it? There's nothing in the manual about it and it seems one can only search by city name or address or already established waypoints. I'm dumbfounded. Please tell me this isn't the case...
