Thanks Dave, that sounds like a good addtion also. I'll have to school myself on reverse bleeding.

I really have gotten a much more vintage bike than I bargained for. I'm a bit older now, so maybe I can make do with a combination of overhauling the system and being a bit more sedate than I was riding the R80.

I'm over fifty and I too have decided to slow down..... just doing the odd ride on my '73 R90.....with its poor ATE brakes,rubber frame, clunky tranny, flexy forks and Bt45's...
