Copper Canyon by Train

I've seen alot of RR's on Copper Canyon Mexico. All beautiful. But I don't remember seeing a report on the train that goes thru. I've wanted to take that train ever since my first ride to Creel, 12 years ago. I'd heard it was a blast. I decided I was gonna take the train this year. So I signed up, and just got back yesterday.
First off is some moto pix, so I don't get yelled at for no moto content.
I saw this bike at the fort in El Fuerte, Sinaloa, which is where I got on board El Chepe, (nickname of the Chihuahua Pacific train)

Mom did that train ride. I've wanted to every since hearing about it.

Great pics. Thanks!

Very cool. I have ridden the MTB down into the canyon twice, always wondered what that train ride would be like. Thanks for the photos.

Did you ride single track on the MTB or ride dirt roads down?

It would be cool if you could ride the MTB down into the canyon to a train station and then catch the train back up. Maybe it's a possibility.
