Thats pretty cool, got the same carby as the Benelli. The old man has an old Ducati motor in his shed that has pull rods rather than push rods which is a bit odd. Remember trying to make a renault v6 into a race motor for a boat but the limiting factor would have been the exhaust and inlet valves used the same cam lobe for both and getting a decent enough valve lift and duration etc was nigh on impossible so it was scrapped. Theres some odd things out there |

It would likely be one of those motors then, as that's what they were manufactured for.

Here's my project I've slowly been getting bits for. I'm very tempted to clear coat the tank and use that as is.

Looks good Eddie. Tis amazing when searching online the amount of common parts that Ducatis/Benellis etc share. Your front brake looks same as mine. Is that a SS1 carb? Have you tried Guzzino for parts? Very good and have a lot of NOS stuff. Do you have an ETA for completion or is it a rolling target? Have to take my engine out today and do some cutting and welding of the frame to make a bracket to mount the rearsets on. Fortunately engine removal is a less than 5 minute one man job. Advantage of having no lower frame.Oh yeah also got an adjustable main jet and one folding rear set footpeg. Was meant to order two Doh.

It's been a rolling target but I collected most of what I needed this year and am hoping to spend some quality time on it next year.
