DR650 the bike that keeps on giving , nice pics, and nothing like riding alone is good for the soul. Bit of rain too .

On the Commison trail to Jerrys Plain are there any gates?

Hi, there are four unlocked gates. The track seems to pass thru two private properties, both have a gate either end with a sign saying ( pls shut the gate )
I like to respect the privilege to cross private land, (shut gates, ride slow n wave )

Any chance of you posting the route you took. It looks pretty interesting and I'd love to give it a go.

Peter13, The only plan I had was a trip from, Newcastle - Grafton ( Old Grafton Rd ) - Newcastle via as much dirt as possible. ( not mud )
I had a route hi-lighted on a map along with backup routes incase of holds ups, mishaps or bad weather, which I got.
Saturday put me behind with slow go'n on muddy tracks and some really dense fog. So I did alter my trip slightly both Sat & Sun to make up time, but Mon saw more blacktop due to really heavy rain & riding alone.

There's so much more you could add to this trip depending on what you like. I did it in 3 days, but left no time to explore or sight see, 4 days would have been better. This is what I did.
