R80 G/S R100GS parts

Does the tank and solo seat of the R80G/S fit on to a R100GS frame and sub frame w/solo seat? Looks like the front catch of the tanks are the same, wondering about the overall length of the R80G/S combination is, and if the seat latches would line up. Thanks.

g/s has a different subframe than the gs. seats and racks don't swap.

A 100 GS tank fits in a 80 G/S frame, with a slight gap at the seat to tank interface.

The G/S seat won't fit on the GS subframe. The tubes are spaced too wide for the seat to fit over them.
