The New Tennesee TAT

Having ridden all of Sam Corerro's Trans America Trails............
and all of his Shadow Of The Rockies trails...................
And his Mississippi Hill Country route................

I was informed from him he had laid out a completely new route thru Tennessee that
was completely different than his original route and doesn't even cross his old route.

I had just retired and rode down to Mississippi to ride with him and others on
a celebration ride---as he and Lake Hill Motors put on a ride celebrating Lake Hill Motors
50 year in business.

I then rode the new Tennessee TAT East---the rode some of the TET (trans Eastern Trail)
that some Eastern boys have been working on.

I've grown a little tired of double posting rides on my website and then here.
It's so much work---and since I've retired I'm not around that much.

So the link to this ride on my website is below---however I'll be glad to answer any questions and listen to your
comments about my ride if you read it.

If your bike weighs more than 400lbs. You might not make it.

Mark, congratulations on your retirement. I wish I could have been there for the Lake Hill ride and met you and Sam.I was in Moab. I've known Dwayne McLemore and the guys at Lake Hill for 40 years. I've known Homer since he was a snot nosed kid. Now he's a snot nosed 40 something. Here's a picture of Homer along with Benson from one of our rides in N Georgia.

BigDog, wishing you the best with your retirement. Thanks for the RR. When you get in the VA region again, let me know and maybe we can ride a trail or two.

Big dog in my home town I live right down the road where they are redoing the wooden tressel. We'll miss that thing. I have a camp on the Duck river you could have stayed at. Speaking of Minnie my neighbor is her first cousin and I think alot of her skits came from them. Great lady, our local radio station has a variety show every sat. morning and play alot of her old jokes. I bet you would like them. Hope you enjoy your retirement you are off to a great start

Hey Bigdog,

We don't know each other, but I would like to wish you all the best, not for your retirement, because you won't be retireing that's for sure, just starting the new way of life that's in front of you. go get em.

Cheers

Thanks Frank---and everybody else---just hoping I can keep the good health that I've luckily enjoyed all my life.
I've been riding my bicycle about 20-25 miles everyday i'm not riding my motorsickle to keep the juices going.

Frank---I saw on a thread where you will be up in the PNW this year-----I plan on it too about the first of September---maybe we'll finally run into each other. I'll probably be running some of those routes you were asking about.

Mark
