Can't remember names for shit, but I do recall her riding into camp (from Oregon, wasn't it?) and promptly laying her bike down in front of us.

Like knights in shining armor, we ran over to help her up and ended up offering her a spot to sleep in Kev's RV. Like dicks, we let her have the floor. Kap, I don't know what you put in her mouth to make her stop snoring, but it worked Thanks for steppin' up to the plate, bro.

I don't think she even started her bike again till the day she rode home. Spent the whole time riding various coolers around camp. I still think her Aussie accent was fake.

To me the 530 felt more nimble from the git go. Turns better. Power is all there all the time compared to the forever winding 525. Total power about the same... 530 just more instant and usable delivery.
...

That's the same impression I had of the 525 vs. 530. The 530 is almost as good in the technical stuff as a Beta. Some claim the 500 is, but I haven't ridden one yet.

What are these cam issues I'm supposed to be having? I know the 2012s had some cam-related updates, but my 2011 seems fine.

262 hours (~6100 miles) before skinnier intake shims needed. No score marks on cam lobes or bearing journals.

Handles almost as good as a Beta in the technical? WTF? I know a 500 EATS snow drifts much better than a Beta, like a rat on a Cheeto.
