Girls.

Wet dirt.
Perfect riding temps/season.

I'll be camping at Landers, riding all the good stuff (that I worked hard to clear). Campfires and bbq
Hoping to take off work early tomorrow, got a new bike to test out. Bringing the old steady too?

No pics will be taken. No report will be made.
See you there, or not (money says not )........

How wet can the dirt be? We barely got a drop of rain here in the valley.

You mean the Landers in the desert right? It is desert riding season...

Got up to the Sequoias this weekend and I'm starting to realize how off you guys are that you ENJOY riding stuff that is REALLY hard ... or maybe I'm just a big girly man that enjoys playing jazz flute.

So combine some hard (to me) trails with a combi tool tied to the bike, stopping every 50-100 yards to dig and clean out water bars made for a tough Saturday. Next time you guys are riding Willow Gulch or Sandy Trail, please be kind to the water bars

Bikes with trenching tools

Me and Bob from Lancaster. Bob rides his 400 like a machine and digs like one too ... he easily did 2 to every one of the water bars I did.

This guy taking a stroll between our feet as we enjoyed cold frostys at the truck

We spent the night at the KOA east of Lake Isabella and rode up Remington Trail Sunday ... some great views back into the canyon

browneye leading the way

Fall season setting in

Coming down this bit of trail my back wheel locked up about 1/3 the way down. Inched to the bottom and found out why.

New bolts and Loctite going on today. Time to go ride the desert and leave the mountain ST to you guys.

Thanks for the waterbar jumps, we like big air! We saw some crazy guys hauling cement pavers so even quads and noobs can do those "tuff trails"

BigTodd and Browneye in the Piutes

Yes, a big shout out for Todd, pretty new at mountain singletrack and he was willing to pitch-in with SOS on this trail day and work the trails. Thank you and SOS thanks you Todd!!

Unfortunately I can't dig with a herniated disk and a torn rotator (at least it feels like it and it's not getting better) but Todd did enough work for two of us. I trimmed a shitload of branches so you guys can 'air out' without getting whipped.

Hard at work here...

There's nothing quite like trailriding in the fall

Vistas are stupendous in the Piutes

Clearing windfalls and patching go-rounds

A job well done here...

Couple'a old farts riding up the mountain...Remington Ridge Trail here. Yes, it kicked our ass...

Todd has obviously gone to the 'orange side'.

Say hello to my little friend

Browneye with my trusty little yammer WR250F. Notice there's a folding saw in my kidney belt.

Nice job Browneye & BIgtodd, I've got to do an SOS trail day myself.

We do fix as we ride up there all the time.
