Sign him up.

How many times did he have to stop and repair his exhaust can and/or rear fender again?!?

Hi Scott!

For puppies?!? No SCGRR or Nor.Cal either.

We have a 10yo golden & a 5yo yellow lab. The lab needs a younger playmate, and grandma-in-Illinois needs a new, trained dog. Local rescue & pounds are telling her she is too old to adopt & train a dog. America is being over-run with clueless, do-gooder control freaks! So I'll train the 2nd one for her, and sneak it into Illinois when the control freaks aren't looking! Shhh...

Yes, goldens are the best! Just ask Max!

Wicked In the planning stages for next year, Kings of the Sequoia 2014...

The plan;
Start in Jawbone and head north through the Sequoia NF via as much single track mountain trail as possible. Stop for the night in Kernville, more of the same the next day stopping in Camp Nelson the second night. Third day continue north through Sequoia on as much dirt as possible to the finish line at Mill Flat campground on the Kings river. (Verplank ridge anyone?)
The objective here is to ride from Sequoia's southern boundary to it's northern boundary via as much ST, dirt roads and back roads as possible. I've already got much of the route in my head but I will be scouting for the very best way to do this. Total miles will be 80-100 per day depending on the final route.
Coming the summer of 2014...

Anyone interested? If there is interest in doing this I'll start a new thread dedicated to the ride.

Dates and details will be through PMs.

Oh hell yeah, as long as we don't need no ama card, pre reg $, roll charts.
A T shirt wouldn't be bad though
Start that thread.

Ok Jungle, you are my Piutes expert, get me the tracks from Jawbone to Kernville, make it a good long day but try not to kill anyone, ok? This will be an "under the Carpet style event" but even lower key than NMBMN's Kings of the West. trials tire mounted backwards required.
Thanks for the inspiration Rob.

My left leg is pretty much destroyed. I keep my riding pretty low key these days, too much pain.

Hey Glenn, thanks for the offer of truck support, depending on how this develops, we may need you. We will need to transport bikes and riders back to Jawbone from Mill Flat too.Stay tuned... I'll start a new thread soon just for this ride.

Scott we could, but that is a different ride. Kings of the Kern!

Jawbone to Kernville to Ponderosa/Camp Nelson and back....taking mostly hard ways.

And do it in two days!
