Great week end rides, myself HT Jungle and Jungles new crew. HT and I headed out early Saturday, great conditions. Waggy,JO,Bull, Lions and few we didn't know. Still a lot of snow above 7K. Plenty of us plowing.
Jungle took his crew out on a typical Jungle led ride. Some of them on bikes with no lights. Back after dark with a police escort. Poor bastards.
Happy has some pictures to follow.
NMBMN was a no show, apparently she got run in her stockings.

Yep, according to the mechanic it's about a $1385 run in my stockings.

I was there in spirit, believe me.

The gates were open!

Headlights are nice, SNF night riders.....
I told the boys to step it up or they'd be sleeping with the bears.

Tony can ride pretty good for a desert guy.
We got back at 4 brap time, bruised foot Saturday and jammed finger Sunday-not too bad.

$1385? So you finally blew up the Trailtricks parts bin bike?

That sounds like a new piston, rings, cylinder & a valve job...

pics of my weekend so far would be NSFW, but I'll fill ya in on the next braaaaaping.

Rob. WTF??? if it's your bike, take it to ESP. Brett from Erics (Pasadena) now works there and is a genius.

Nope, the Touareg. Hauling home Saturday afternoon/evening after soccer game (with bike and gear already loaded to make quick get away) and changed lanes only to run over what my wife said looked like a car jack.

Whatever it was took out my right front drive line and a couple of other things. Luckily my buddy's bro is a VW mechanic and let me drop it off yesterday. He's charging $1385 and a 12 pack of Corona.
The dealer wanted $2170 and change.

Jungle? Jungle stops & smokes MANY cigarettes on the trail. All day long. You just have to catch him before he finishes one to notice.

My first time on the Green Hill was chasing Jungle & a bunch of Sequoia crazies up his "Breakfast of Champions" trail. The rewards afterwards were worth it! A day I will never forget.

Hoping our schedules converge again soon,

Catfish ...

PS: In the meantime, I've been busy with a couple of new puppies;

2 potty breaks a night are HELL! I've felt like a zombie since they arrived!
