Talking Thorsday night ride 7/31-8/1-2014...Sun down to Sun rise.

This started out as just another night ride. Hesaid said, he might come along for the ride but was working late and I couldn't wait! So off I rode solo again...

Tuesday night, I bashed a rock with the LC4

We had a nice storm come through on Thorsday! I say dirt bike holiday...

The storm also got me this nice little recovery job

She was lucky not to roll it...

not a good place to go "offroad"

Gassed up the 525 here on the way up the hill... pics uploading ...

It was a beautiful afternoon in the valley, but it was 109 in Fresburg.

I came upon this nice little flock of wild turkeys...

They wanted nothing to do with me.

I'll be back later with my 12 gauge...MMMMMMMMMM wild turkey!

I made it up near the base of the Mountain by sundown...

then it got dark...

I found some new trails

I stopped along this trail under this tree for dinner...

Mmmm, jerky and Blue Moon.

It's limited you know.Agave?

Cleveland's got nuttin' on this place...

Since I had no reason to go back down the mountain in the dark, i decided to stay the night a the county park that's up there. I kinda felt like a homeless person since I had no sleeping bag or pillow etc. I found a nice park bench and made that my bed for the night.

I woke up at five the next morning before the sun was up.

I took these pics on the way down the mountain...

Here comes the Sun! Didn't the Beatles sing a song about that?

Hey SHIFTY! you want to supermoto? Up here we do it with Knobbies.

All in all an excellent night ride in the big trees!

My old MO was Dawn till Dusk rides, now I guess I'll switch it around and do some Dusk till Dawn rides as well.

When's the next night ride?

Alright I need some additional lighting for my 690. Suggestions welcomed.
I would love to ride those areas. The 3 day 600mile ride sounds like a fine idea.

you can see them here. Joe, you can PM FuckYouYouFuckingFuck (FYYFF), Ersin, if you want info on these great lights, or you can e-mail him at Del Amo Motorsports...

Thumb Moonday night ride in Sequoia...

Pre ride fish BBQ at Grinchwerks the night before the ride...Fresh Alaskan rock fish, salmon and halibut!

Bike prep in progress...wheel bearings and tires were changed.

Valve adjustment's and an oil change.

Let's ride!

Our destination in view...

theGrinch!

the Trails!

Amazed here, Peter realized, "I'm not in Cleveland anymore"...

rocky ledge single track!

the wildflowers are blooming at 8000'!

59 miles from home in the dark.

We left Grinchwerks @ 6PM Moonday and were back @ 2AM Tuesday.
142 miles of great roads and ST.

Shesaid saw the fish and said "I didn't know there was pre-ride fish BBQ! I'd try riding Verplank for some of that halibut!"

And that lasted until right about here:
