Tell me about it! That was the third (or was it fourth?) time that my buddy had a footpeg related failure on the trail. First time was on his XR650R (sheared bolts) second time (and maybe third?) time was on his Husky 630 (sheared bolts so I installed the same upgraded bolts as I used in his 650) and then with the bolts taken care of, the frame shit the bed! A little time with the welder and I got it fixed up nicely, but he is super paranoid (and rightfully so) every time we come up on a big g-out since that is how all of the failures occurred.

Aren't those pegs mounted on spring loaded pivots? I've smacked my 10 year old KTM's pegs countless times on rocks, logs and the like and have only had to replace washers and cotter pins...

KTM frames are made from cro-moly! try cutting them with a hack saw , like u have a dull blade
most all others are made from your moms old recycled car = steel
now husky frames- probably derived from old tin cans = pot metal- ty davis said they replaced frames after ea race

now lets get back to the forest

I think I'll keep it, I like it better than my worn out KTM.

I can't do The ride this weekend, I'm working for theGrinch.(does he ever work?)

theGrinch will bring it down soon... Vin inspection coming soon.

My local PD officer is hard to obtain, I'm using CHP this time.

Krazy eights or KooKs? Jungle has something up his sleeve...

You boyz have a great ride!

I'll post some pics tomorrow of the latest dusk till dawn adventure...

It's time to build a campfire and make a bed out of pine needles.
