Eek FROSTY! SNF north side ride...
My fingers and toes are frozen, but it was fun just trying to keep the bike upright on the ice. I got a late start so I didn't make it to the singletrack down in the Kings.I could have gone down there but would have had to take the long way home around the lake, the snow and ice made it very difficult to go uphill.



this is a fun little play area just off the road

the junction

at this point I decided to turn around, I would probably not have been able to make it back up.

lower Kings Canyon

Pine Ridge

the ice was slicker than snot

Today's ride was a shakedown ride getting the bike ready the for DV Daze, just changed the rear wheel bearings and gearing.

Yeah Todd, it was freezing literally, needed heated grips and boots. The snow was crunchy and there was plenty of ice. I could barely climb out of the uphill sections, easy on the throttle, easy on the brakes... I spun out and laid it down a couple times. Winter fun. Brrrrrrrraaaaap. I'm ready for Death Valley.
