StowX, they are custom fit and never fall off like the soft type.

In one word, Traction.

After 5 riding days and over 350 miles of mostly single track with a mix of FS roads and slab, I have decided to keep one mounted on my non-cush wheel at all times. I will keep a knobby on the cush wheel for those times I need one.

The MT43 took some getting used to at first, it almost eliminates wheel spin so you have to be careful not to use too much throttle over rocks, the front wheel lifts and you will loop out.

Try one on, I think most will like it for trail duty, and they wear well, work when worn out and perform well on the street (DOT), just be careful at first and give it some time.

Here we go again, lol.

Need to start a new thread.......Call it all about trails tires.

Rich, I didn't know your crash at KM was caused by a trails tire!

I looped my 525 at least 4 times in the first two days of riding with THE tire.

I've got one sitting in the shop, tried it last year, in the frickin snow . You can guess how long I left it mounted after that day.

I never really got to try it out in dirt and rocks, How's the braking traction everyone bitches about with them?

PS is Cat riding a 520?

The downhill breaking is where it lacks, need to use more front break and ABS footwork on the back...

...or just go downhill faster

It is the shit in the tight tech stuff and leaves less footprint on trail or off

Yes he's riding a 520.
