Chaleco Lopz , himself by twitter, has confirmed what weas already known, he is out of Bordone Ferrari.
He also confirm he will run privately, with service and assistance by Chilean Tamagural XC (supported by Honda,)

He does not state it, but it will be with his KTM (Factory prep), I guess because Tamagural is supported by Honda Chile, he can not be part of Tamagural riding a KTM

Prohens borthers also confirmed aboput the KTM.

I was not clear myself, he is announced as outside Tamagural, but with their service and assistance.
I believe this should be do to Tamagural links with Honda

Fascinating, both KTM and Honda are of course very protective about their brand and technology etc.

I suspect that very shortly you may see an announcement that Chaleco has a KTM support package and offers his many thanks for the potential assistance to Tamagural.

Somehow I just can't see KTM allowing a Honda team the potential to be all over a race prepared 450 RR

Just read that Speedbrain Husqy could have a fourth bike at the Dakar... Viladoms maybe? Would be great to see Manuel on it, though...

Yep Villadoms also assited by Tmagural XC.

They will have 4 Honda, 1 KTM and now 1 Husky

Chaleco has purchased a factory kit form KTM and hired his mechanic from Bordone Ferrari, Roberto Boasso. They will have transportation and logistics handled by Tamarugal. There is not much from either Honda or KTM that no one has seen before. Tamarugal may have some factory support from Honda Chile, but it's far from a factory effort. They'll do ok by Chaleco, but I wouldn't expect fireworks.

I have it on good authority that Viladoms is also paying big for the Speedbrain ride but it should be clear that, although he's a big name, he's not joining as a factory rider. He's a paying customer.
