Ahhhhhhhhhh. Negativity, another one of those smart people things I don't understand. Kinda like texting while driving. All those stupid statistics about seatbelts and helmets. Idiots! Thinking that wearing gear is gonna help. Dumb dumb dumb.
It's funny, I liked the piece. It's just when he crashes and gets hurt bad because he isn't wearing a helmet. I wonder what the news will report on then. And what laws will be passed to force more rules on us. Darwin rules, true that.

I will gladly embrace helmet laws only if they apply to every passenger in every vehicle
............now back to sidecars

Choices, quality of life and taking pleasure in personal freedom are things some people enjoy.
Taking potshots at someone else for doing those things seems to be something some [little] people enjoy doing. Of course I could be wrong.....

I think this thread was about a man, a dog, and a Ural before the ATGATT police showed up.

How is that different then what you did to the guy in the video? How many bad Ural wrecks do you know of? I think I know of two at best.

And Christian Neuhauser, the editor/founder of the Road Runner Magazine (aftermath pictured below). Apparently, he was testing a Ural, came off the on-ramp to hot, shot across two lanes of traffic and ran up under a semi-truck. Just goes to show that millions of miles of two-wheeling experience has no relevance to driving a sidecar outfit.

Man's best friend
The funny thing is they made mention that his wife won't ride in it because it is camoflauge.
That'll teach him..... ![]() If you want your wife to ride with you - best let her pick out the color. BTW, do they make a pink Ural? The dog didn't seem to mind at all - truly man's best friend. |

No, but Nolan makes pink helmets, which is what my wife wears when she's riding in our NATO camo Gear Up.
