Hello!
Yeah, but a lot less. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'll be getting out on the bike more often, that's for sure.
The Wee is actually getting better! (or I'm getting worse)

Good to hear you'll able to ride more. I recall you were without the Wee in the beginning. For me, I really enjoy riding out here in CO, but I also miss a lot of the riding in TN.

Went over the primitive campground to do some future camping recon.

Not bad at all.

Nice view of the Tennessee river.

After you exit the campground, if you head west you have a great view of the Tennessee river from the bridge. You can't see it, but the park is actually just ahead of the barge to the right of where the reflections begin to fade.

All in all, a nice park. Hope to camp there come spring.

Be safe guys.
Yeah, probably bad form to quote your own post, but I made it back to mouse tail to do some soft-core moto-camping with pops.

Not much to tell, but everyone likes photos with bikes and tents I hear.

Pops crashed again on a slow uphill right hander. Not hurt, but I'm not sure what to do about this going forward.
A foot or two more to the right and we would have needed a tow truck.

+1 on that!

Good to hear from you again J.

How does your dad feel about riding? There is always the trike option.

Its good to be back. Didn't do much riding this year, but I did do a lot of travling. I have a new grandson that's 700 miles away. Wife and I have been trying to spend a lot time with him!

Thanks! Let's just say that pops is squarly into the "parade" riding style and never seeing my brakelight may be confusing him.

Left home

Got gas

Met some new people, met some old people

Rode

Ate Fish. Left with a pocket full of hushpuppies. (just in case)

Ride leader had mounted a real live photographer on his rear seat. Why didn't I think of that. Genius.

Went Home through the Delta.

Been a tough winter, "posterior" was singin' the blues:
The feeling's gone/
The feeling's gone away/
Ain't rode a bike/ in 99 and one half days
(Guitar Solo)

The End

Sounds like the winter cold did a number on the riding season in TN - more so than I recall from the past.

How's the Wee doing? I still like the storage tube you fab'd-up for the left side.

Have you seen the 2015 with the wire spokes and rims?

Thanks!

Thanks for all the commentary and pictures. After living in Tennessee and Western Kentucky several years your work brought back great memories of rides enjoyed.
I appreciate your efforts!

I NEVER post here, so you have to know how glad I am to see you out on two wheels...

Too bad I don't have an adventure bike...but I did get out Sunday for a quick spin out to Shelby Forest.

Here' s proof...

Stay after the grand babies, they won't stay little for long...

Wee is as good as new. Yeah, I like the way spokes look, but mags are just so maintenance free.

Yeah, year old now. Don't get to see him enough.
So...what's not "adventure" about a UJM? I've probably been on more knarly crap riding my 550 than I have on the 'strom.

We need to ride again. Watch the Memphis ride page. I'm getting lazy lately and just latch on the other peoples local trips.
Snake asked about you on the last ride. I thought "Damn, I knew I forgot something"
