Hey man!! Glad to see you made it in one piece. I guess not knowing the area and limited Spanish can make things like this happened. Too bad that there are always a few bastards anywhere you go that can put a dent on your experiences.

Peru

I made it in to Peru
It was easily the best border crossing so far.
Clean and efficient.
I was very excited about getting to Peru.
It feels like I have really accomplished something now.
I am clearly in the southern hemisphere now.
I was pinching myself thinking ........am I really here?
Yes I am
So much to see here
And I still have a long way to
Peru is a huge country.
Can't wait to explore it all
I just need to watch my back here
I am hearing some stories that I need to be careful where I go.

Getting robbed and them giving chase to get my phone back makes a great story.
I got my tent fixed. I slept on the beach in it last night.
I slept well too. All is good.
That experience just forced me to raise my awareness here.
And I will be better off for it. It will help keep me safe for the rest of my trip.
If I saw those 3 bastards again, I would thank thank them for it and then kick their asses

That face made me laugh out loud. I've been following your journey (silently) from the beginning. I'm really enjoying your stories and pictures. Have fun and stay safe.

I can hardly wait to see the pictures you post of Peru. It is on my bucket list, and there is a lot there to see!

Please take care, as some people don't value life like you and I do.

Now go find some cool things to report back on

Finding some tranquillo beaches here in Northern Peru.
I am taking advantage of it because the ocean gets too cold to swim just a couple of hundred miles south of here.
I hope your trip is or went well

Ok, it's not quite fine wine, but any plans on seeing a shaman in Peru and trying ayahuasca?
