Sandboarding on the dunes.
It's harder than it looks, especially if you have never snowboarded before.
My surfing and skateboarding I think helped. But don't let the sand fool you.......it hurts when you fall

Some the dunes were really big.
I invented a new sport here at Huanachina........I called it sand tumbling.
Basically you curl yourself up in a ball and tumble down head over heals.
You can really get some speed going.
And when you stop, you are more dizzy than you have ever been.
Plus you have sand in places you didn't think was possible.
I got one other person to try it. It was a cute girl from Czech Republic. I thought it was cool she tried it. And it was funny to watch
Sorry, no pictures.....I didn' have my camera

Yes, it's a bad bet. And even if you have the means to do it when you are older, will you still have the desire.
I am doing it now so I can enjoy my older years on a luxury cruise ship with a nice glass of Rioja in my hands

Hi Bob
Glad you are along for the ride.
Yes, I might need some help moving some stuff.
But first, I am trying to find a place to store my 2 containers.
BTW, you don't have room to store a certain black car that you had your eyes on.

Hope you are doing well.

Glad to see you are at the wineries stocking up for my visit.
And I don't want no Spatlese or even Auslese's
I only want Beerenauslese and TBA's
And of course Eiswein.
Yum

Yes, my Spanish is improving but my dancing still sucks.
These Latinas just know how to move their bodies.
Enough said

I met 2 fellow ADV Riders in Huanachina. They were traveling from Oregon on DRZ400's
Makes my bike seem really bike (that's because it is!)

After playing on the sand dunes, Cathe had to head back to Lima.
The next day, I hit one more winery in Ica. It was the best one.
Vista Alegre

I had to take another tour of the winery before they would pour me the wine. You would think by now that I would know how this wine stuff is made

There was one wine that the winery was especially proud of. It was a wine that was reserved just for the family. The wine had never been sold to the public before.......until now. Here I am with the first bottle to leave the winery. The jury is still out. I have not opened the bottle yet.
I left the winery carrying 6 bottle of wine on an already loaded down GSA.
I need to start doing some drinking

On my way south of Ica, I stopped at the Nasca Lines to take a peak.
I didn't want to spend $100+ to see them from a plane
