I have to say that Bolivian drivers are probably the worst so far.
They drive like zombies. They will pull out in front of you and not even care or react.
Here, I came upon the scene of an accident.
It involved a truck carrying maybe 10,000 or more eggs.
The entire load had spilled and people were out trying to salage any unbroken eggs.
There weren't many. It was quite a mess.
As I was taking pictures in my space suit, everyone was starring.
One guy started to yell at me and jestured to get the hell out of there before he kicked my ass.......he was evenidently the driver

Hey Ed,

What happened to your world map on the side cases? Did you feel too conspicuous as a foreigner or something?

heading to the mountain town of Sorata. The road peaks at 14,000 feet and drops sharply in to the canyon down to 9000 feet.
Towards the top of the pass, there was snow and ice along side of the road

I found a cool hostel with a great view so I pulled one of the bottles from my stash and watched the sunset

i had lunch in town with the French gal and her Argentine BF. It was May first which meant Labor Day.
The school was making a chicken lunch to raise money for the school.
It was only $2 and we were the only Gringos there
Those two need to be taught some manners..........

sorry but my camera doesnīt focus well in the dark
There was a underground river in the cave. They had these little paddle boats you could rent but we all decided to go for a swim instead.
It was against the rules and we got yelled at. But the water felt great.
The French girl got in with it with some other people and I just sat back and watched the cat fight

It was a 2 hour walk back to our hostel from the cave along a road that was a lot like The Road of Death. The fact is, there are lots of death roads in Bolivia. They are all cut out of the side of a steep sided mountain.
