Handsome Oregonians????
I am not sure who you are talking about.
I didn't meet those guys
I have a couple of funny videos of our shananigons in that vineyard with the dynamite.
All the people that are reading our blogs have no idea what fun they are missing.
Words can only go so far.
Good times
Hope to see you DRZ riding, TNT carrying bozos soon

From the Handsome Oregonians experience in the mine you were probably wise to bypass that adventure, they had fun but it sounded like quite a tour.

"Earth First, We'll ride the other planets later"

The pics you have of the eroded formations and the trench where you camped...damn, I think for all intents and purposes you have Mars crossed off your list!

Loving the extreme and other-worldly landscapes.

The pictures I take do not do this place justice.
You have to see it to believe it

Heading to Salta Argentina, the world went from brown and lifeless to green and alive.
And even more beautiful roads here too

This was a crazy road.
I was heading from Salta to Route 40 and one moment it was beautiful pavement and then the next dirt and rocks
Seems like they just ran out of money in the middle

That road twist and turned it way up the side of a mountain and just before I got to the top at over 10,000 feet, the pavement came back. And at the top it just leveled out and became this wide straight road......crazy!

Route 40

Route 40 is Argentina's most famous road. It goes from the north to the tip of the country in the south. Most of it is paved but there are lots of dirt sections too. Some places it is wide and smooth and others, it is single lane dirt. Here is a dirt/sand section. Notice the kilometer marking. I am at the top of Argentina. Just over 4400 kilometers to go to Patagonia!

Hi from Spain,
Just seen your report and since you mentioned that you'd like more feed back from us 'wish we were there guys' well here I am. I'm way behind, page 15, but finding it very entertaining. I'll try to catch-up. This report has just the right amount of photos (lots!) and from time to time some great write-ups.

Anyway, really enjoying the sincerity of your writing and great pics. Keep the good work up and continue to enjoy your freedom.

Should you ride anywhere near Northern Spain give me a shout and I'll be happy to have a beer with you and give you a place to put your bike and sleeping bag.

Safe riding.
