Put some of your great roads traveled into my must do rides. Have fun and will keep up with your adventures. If in Idaho stop by. Good luck. Hope your adventure has more 2up in the future.
Thanks for the kind words
Yeah, I don't miss working on my irragation system. I could never stay on top of it all. Now everything that I need to maintain, I can put my arms around.......and it's kind of nice
And yes, more two up riding next week in Mendoza. It will be our 4th country in the past few weeks.

Might have to ship that tail box farther south and modify your packing list? Be good or bad whichever is more fun. Be safe.

Its kind of like when 2 dogs see each other so we stop to sniff each other's butts
Usually when I tell someone that I have been traveling for 10 months, it gets a reaction. But these guys have been traveling for YEARS!
Africa!
Europe
Everywhere.
The big guy is Young James.
I forget the other guy's name because he hasn't e mailed me yet.....
But these are guys that I want to stay in touch with.
I am sure they are a wealth of knowledge
In fact, they told me something that I was wondering about.
I was planning to ride up and over Agua Negra pass in to Chile. But the weather was looking bad ahead so I was not sure I could make it. It is a 14,000+ pass and they confirmed it was closed.
But they had just crossed it. And it was now covered in a foot of snow.
So my new plan was to head to Mendoza and cross in to Chile there.
I want to go back and do Agua Negra another time. But it is too late in to the year now.

Chilly in Chile......the video

click on the picture below to watch the video

It shows my snowy ride from Mendoza to Santiago
This was the good part of the road. I was too afraid to let go of my handbars and switch my camera on when it was icy and windy..

I had a great time staying with my new friend here in Santiago. He really went out of his way to make me feel at home. But it is time for me to move on now. And besides......I think he is out of wine.
Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Your trip gets more interesting every time I log on. If you should ever write a book, make sure that you include a great deal of your fantastic photos. When looking at them and your videos I feel I am with you. Nat Geo has competition Be safe and keep the posts coming

Excellent
Thank you for saying that
I was wondering if people were watching the videos or just looking at the pictures
The videos to me are the best part
They take a long time to upload and really tell the story better than the pictures alone

How's the Spanish coming along?

Does Kathe speak english? With the total immersion, you are probably fluent by now. I've tried Rosetta Stone but....no beuno for me.

Young James

The world is really getting small. We know of Young James from Radioman's thread, they rode together in S. America.

Please keep entertaining us, many are living vicariously through you......or at least I am!
