Thanks for the amazing report Ed! I've enjoyed every page immensely. This picture really does say it all. In experiencing the adventure of a lifetime you may have found the one who will give you a lifetime of adventure, no matter where you ride. Ride safe and enjoy every minute!

We just got off the boat and we are trying to figure out where to go next.
We want to load up the moto and head to a beach in the south of Spain for a few days.
I will post some pics from the cruise when I get wifi tonight.
We had a great time and a lot of fun memories.

Yeah
It's hard to beat the good old USA on prices for everything.
When in Italy, I noticed that the price of gas was about nine dollars a gallon.
It made me miss Ecuador at one dollar a gallon even though I got robbed on the beach there.

After the cruise, I think I actually put on a few pounds.
It's all you can eat so I was eating five to ten appetizers, two or three entrees, and a couple of desserts every night for dinner. And for breakfast something like a pound of bacon. They have this huge pile of bacon and I would grab at least 20 slices.
Sure I felt sick the rest of day, but it tastes so good going down. If you are anything like me or Homer Simpson, then I am sure you can relate.

After Bolivia, I think I lost some weight. I wasn't eating much because everything was making me sick. But know I put it back on and then some.
But I hope to do some hiking in the alps and hope to get back in to shape.

Oh, we were killing two bottles of wine a day and then some on the cruise so drinking less wine will help too

The Cruise

We booked a 7 day Med just 2 days before it sailed. I thought we might get a good deal on it but we paid the standard rate as it was pretty much sold out.
The ship was Liberty of the Seas. The line was Royal Carribean.
The ship left from Barcelona Spain and visited Talloun France (spelling??), Monaco, Cinca Terrets Italy (spelling), Rome and Naples.
I had been on a few cruises before but for Cathe, it was her first.
The night before our cruise, we spent the night in the small country of Andorra. We got up early and rode in to Barcelona. We left the bike and all of tye stuff we didn't want to bring at a Kathe's friend's house in Barcelona.
And then we took a taxi to the port.
He we are in the taxi on the way to the ship. We were both very excited!

At the ship.
The boat is the second largest cruise ship in the world. I think there were over 5000 people on this floating city.

If you want to see some motorcycle pictures and here adventure stories, then tune back in later. After a year on the road, I took a break for a week and left the driving to someone else and the most adventure I had was trying to decide which bottle of wine to open.

Here are some photos of Kathe and I exploring the ship on our first day.
