Thumb Running The Bulls

There's two types of people in this world. Those who will run with the bulls, and those who will not. I guess we should have known which camp you were in.

Seriously, thanks for all the effort to keep this report going Lalo.

Well, I am a diamond club member with RC cruise lines.
I didn't think it meant anything until we discovered the Diamond Club on deck 14. It was a private room for only Diamond Club members.
The room was nice
The food was ok
But the big thing was........FREE DRINKS!!!
And we discovered this on the last day!!!!
Well, not all was lost, the wine they served there was not up to my snobby standards.
Hey, what's higher than diamand??
I want the Chateau Lafite club

Please tell me that is not a bikini lol... Nice pics and looks like a great trip!

That's funny. The black one was the one I reached out to touch when I fell. I got up and continued after them but you can see at 12:45 in the video when they shut the gate on me.
I hope to find a video where they show the whole run as I started closer to the start and most of the highlights happened after deadman's curve.
Thanks for posting

On this webpage you can custom build your video of the race, choosing any of the ten the cameras set along the course(left frame)

The storm

I left Pamplona and found a campground on the French side of the French/Spanish border. I needed a shower and internet.
That night, while I was chatting with Kathe on Skype, a storm rolled in.
It started to lightning and thunder but when it got real windy is when I took notice. I ran back to my tent and put the rain fly on quickly. And as soon as I did, it started to pour. I climbed inside my tent and that is where I stayed the rest of the night. I didn't have time to unpack my sleeping bag and pad but I was so tired, I just fell asleep anyway.
This morning, I noticed I left some of my clothes out so I am now trying to dry things out.
It was a pretty intense storm with lightning every 2 seconds. I wish I could have stayed awake for it all

I am catching up with my story now.
I fast forwarded to the Bull Run, but now I am going to rewind to my days in Portugal
So here are some boring pictures of visiting the Port houses
Beautiful ride along the Douro River

Out in the valley where the grapes are grown, there are some wineries that offer tasting. This was probably my favorite. I never heard of the brand before. They don't export and most of the port is sold at the winery.

With my favorite port

But most of the port houses have their tasting facilities near Porto on the river. I believe it is their original wherehouses where the port was loaded on to the ships. Not as remote but very scenic. I am not a big city person, but I loved Porto. It had a lot of charm and a cool looking old city overlooking the river and port.

My next stop was Croft.
I had a bottle of 1966 Croft with a friend of mine about a year ago and it was one of the best ports I have ever had.
