Fantastic trip report, thanks for sharing!
It looks like you’ve added an additional lower crash guard to the r1200GS Adv. Can you please provide manufacturer information for this part? |

I have to back Ed up on this. I have done three tours with Chris Haines: (1) with the legend himself leading the charge and Claus the CHP motorcycle dirt rider as sweeper on a 3 day to Mike's Ranch.(2) an Enseneda to Cabo 6 day trip last year with Pepe La Paz, George, Oscar and Santana and (3)last week with Ed, Oscar, Santana and Arturo. Ed kept my ass safe from washouts but could not prevent me from being a smartass and nearly terminating myself.
But I've got to say Chris Haines Tours are the most well planned and executed dirt bike rides I've had to honor to be part of. From the riders to the drivers to Chris himself, this is a class act. If you haven't done it GO DO IT!!!! Quote:

Baja...........the celebration
After riding (and surviving) 6 days thru Baja, we get to Cabo and it is time to let loose. If you have never been to Cabo, I would compare it to a smaller version of Las Vegas.
In Vegas, they say.........what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas In Mexico, they say............... a gentleman has no memory And for many of us, this percisely what happened. Here's team Colombia at the start of the evening. It only goes downhill from there......LOL

That first picture was after our first 1.5L bottle of Clase Azul Tequila. This next picture is when we are on our 7th!

Baja
We went out to another bar, had even more tequila, and then Santiago and decided to make a 2 am taco run to try and absorb some the tequila in our guts
