You got 5 stars from me! If you ever come through Oklahoma, you have a bed, fire pit, and whatever beer you choose waiting for you, as long as you tell stories! Serious!

I also read your report every day and am enjoying the journey with you. Keep it up mate.
Thanks to you the only beer I now drink is Blue Chimay !It's costing me a fortune.....

Five star from me

I have been following your RR from the beginning. My only complaint now is not enough Kathie LOL.
You are doing a great job. I want to be you when I grow up, and I am 57.
I do ride and 07 GSA had a KLR loved them both . Not able to do as much as adventuring as you and mostly milk toast compared to your adventures but still fun.
Keep up the good work , ride safe and have fun. You will be 57 sooner that you think.
Paul

I just finished my morning coffee; fresh ground French Roast, black. And now I am starting the rest of my day in my usual inspiring fashion -- by reading your latest update!

A lot of readers, like me, don't post because we think we will just clutter and dilute the excellent adventure reporting you're doing. I think I am speaking for a sizable but silent audience.

I, and a lot of others I'll bet, hope a book is in the wings. You have a good way about you that comes across in your writing. I suspect that same attitude also keeps you out of trouble in your travels :-)

Just wanted you to know,
Cheers

Just 5-starred you! I didn't realize I could vote on these things.

Enjoy your trip first, and worry about the rest of us second (definitely not as far down the line as third), but know that you're still very copiously read.

You should be taking notes for your viable book tentatively titled "Rogue Camping in Southeast Asia". I love your camp spots!

Rated 4 stars? Are you kidding me? This report is easily in the top 3 that I've read here all time. But, I'll admit, that I might be scarred for life after seeing what you did to that wall in Montenegro. I was going to re-post the pic from #4595, but decided not to burden those who had not seen it.

Maybe the owner of this wall knew of your ride report and wanted some payback, so he trashed your ratings.

Never mind the critics - don't change a thing Lalo!

Ride safe.

5 stars!!

I don't know who would vote you down, but now that I know it's there, I certainly voted you 5 stars. Your RR has been inspirational and beyond epic. It's one of the highlights of my day to find new posts from you Ed. Don't let the buggers (whoever the dick heads are) drag you down! Keep the posts coming! This is your legacy, and a tremendously enjoyable one at that.

Ouch... I'd heard they were fragile on that shaft. I believe the other things to watch are the clutch (carry a clutch pack if you are going off the tar), camchain tensioner (carry a spare) and the fork seals (well, everyone carries spare fork seals).... and watch that subframe

Good luck with the repairs.
