As for you ed, you're bat shit crazy sir. Completely unpredictable, and easily the most exciting and extreme person I've had the privilege to meet.
Thank you for letting me ride (slowly) alongside you. It's been fun being your sidekick :)

I'm currently sitting in a 5* hotel in Bangkok, lovely yep, but to be honest I would rather be camping out in some oddball building on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I love the life I've lead the past 8 days. Posh hotels do not cut it.

As for a second date watch this space. But I think we should meet up on our motorbikes and fight crime around the world!! Xx

you got a sister?

come on we are all wonderin

Very cool! YOU are cool! Maybe you are more extreme and exciting than Ed! Please though, ....for your next Moto experience; ...... get some proper protective riding gear!
Best regards though and congrats to you!

Waiting in port for the right gear means the boat never leaves the dock, when I was traveling by sailboat I met lotsa people who said "I just need the right stuff and then I'll be gone"Tam all you need is what you already have the ability to say"why not?"as long as you never lose that good times will always be near.

i paid my respect to Uncle Ho this morning.
I stood in line to see the dead man's body.
It is interesting because of how many Vietnamese people come to show their respect.
And sorry, i couldn't take a picture.....cameras were strictly not allowed
I think my next camera will be one of thos spy ones

Afterwards, i went to the HCM museum which was kind of boring

I left Hanoi this afternoon. I had a blast riding out of town. In the main part of town, there is road six lanes wide. I was weaving in and out of all the scooters and cars at easily double their speed.
Oh, so dangerous but so much fun too
In fact, i saw two crashes while riding out of town, one involving two scooters and the other one involving a car and a scooter.

I am going to spend the next few days riding and exploring northern vietnam.....should be fun

Lalo, I finally found the Karmeliet Tripel last night. That was excellent and the store owner is getting the Orval for me. Can't wait!

Looks like your trip has improved for the past week!
