"If you have a question or like what you are seeing, drop me a line.
It is much appreciated!" page 43

An Israeli tank commander ordered me to start reading Around the World in 800 Days. (You're kindred spirits.) I'm up to page 43, and thought I'd drop you a line just to check in and tell you how much I'm enjoying your adventure. I don't want to spoil it by getting ahead of myself, so now I'll mosey on back to the pyramids of Mexico. I hope Alaska is treating you well. Guess I'll find out in a few days. Be well, Ed!

Many thanks for all your excellent pics, thoughts, and risk taking!

I plan to hit the road soon - Central America, for starts.

Off topic, but very curious - Have you heard anything about wild west coast salmon becoming radioactive due to Fukusima's fallout? I've heard rumors that the plume is now very widespread and, because salmon move around, they pick some of that stuff up. I'd guess that's the last thing commercial fishermen would want to talk about.

Captain Moose is not eating the salmon for that reason which just means there is more for me.
Radiation is natural. I don't believe it is above a critical level.
Be more afraid of El salvador and that motorcycle between your legs.

We are heading out tomorrow.
I might be without wifi for a while. And if i do check in, it will be only something quick.
So in the meantime, these are the countries i will be visiting later this summer.
If you have any recommended roads or places of interests that i shouldn't miss, please reply to this message and let me know about them.
Or if you live in one of these countries and have a place for us to stay so we can get out of the tent for a night, i would also like to hear from you. I know i have had followers from Germany, Austria, Croatia and Italy contact me in the past, so if you are out there following along still, i am heading your way.

Bikinis in Alaska: an important anthropological concern, and one that requires careful study, including many pictures.

Yes, I have Heard the Salmon are Contaminated

Here in Missouri SE corner, we have talked about the salmon coming from over there having high levels of radiation; But, what is worst high levels of radiation or genetically modified? Probably a mixture we are getting. Also heard there are force fed pig shit salmon coming from China. I can't confirm or deny any of this stuff. I thought all of our fish was coming from China now? How did you get a job fishing then?

I'll take wild caught fish over GMO any day. Did a lot of research on GMO's and I figure if the cows, pigs, deer and geese won't eat it if given the choice, then it can't be a good thing. I don't even eat any kind of grain products anymore unless I can find Non-GMO. The US is almost the only country that allows GMO food in the main supply chain anymore.
