I can't imagine Ed drinking cheap wine! Part of my enjoyment is his discernment when it comes to fruit of the vine.

On the other hand, I've wondered if maybe he's not a highly functioning alcoholic. Well, we've all got our demons . . . . . . except maybe those self-select few among us who want him to follow their example.

I'm all for stopping and helping someone broken down on the side of the road and I've enjoyed this ride report as much as anyone but I'm not going to donate to some ones extended holiday. So keep working until you can afford it sunshine.

Oh, you mean like the perfectly running van I gave to a church starting an orphanage. BTW I am Agnostic. I would not give sh.. to any big "corporate donation mill" like the United Way or the Red Cross, their overhead is effing outrageous.

You give to them bud, then look up the salaries of some of the executives. As far as being "half witted", I semi-retired at 46 after starting my own company. I am now 54. You mind your coin, I'll mind mine. Manners are something you need some tutelage on.. Sooner, rather than later too.

I'll probably donate just to see Ed be able to get back out on the road.

But, you can create and run a blog for free. Heck, you can even create your own forums for free, I have a few. The costs only come if you decide upon no advertising or a custom domain. I love ADV rider, but the elements that Ed brings to his ride reports have exceeded ADV Rider's rules and I would totally suggest taking the ride report to it's own media format.

If he is too busy, I'd be happy to create a blog for Ed, it's really easy.

How and where does Ed prefer to receive donations?

If you do not want to donate, don't. What ed has done with the money that he had is none of your business. What he does with any money that is donated is none of your business as well!
