If you remember, my camera mount broke in Guatemala after my bike tipped over on the kick stand in the mud

No, it's still going strong after 9000.
The one I had up to Alaska, I got 11,000
It still had more life in it too
But as the middle wears out, the tire gets square and the bike doesn't like to turn.
But on this trip south, the tires are getting more wear on the sides so the bike and the tires are doing fine.
The front is going to wear out on the sides before the middle

And I hear what you are saying. It's a hard decision to sell your stuff and leave your comfortable life behind for one of uncertainty risk and adventure. And if anything, you will have more doors open for you than I could ever imagine because you are a woman.

I dont think I will make it to Panama, and you are leaving there soon anyhow arent you? Maybe if you are in Africa/Europe at end of year I will see you there. I am planning a trip that way late in the year for sure. Possibly a couple months, or maybe more if I can get up the courage you have to unload my worldly goods. As you say, time will tell. It is good to know you thought of doing this 20 years. Mine has only been a couple years. Hopefully I dont ponder another 18!

I wanted to ask you where you are arriving in Europe, and what you are seeing there and the same for Africa. Curious of your route/stops.

As I follow your travels I keep adding to my never ending bucket list :)

My plan is to get to Europe in May of this year for the summer.
I am not sure what my route and plans will be yet.
I will probably start from Spain.
But I know I want to hit all the countries there.
I just kind of plan one day at a time.
Things change so quickly, it gives me more flexibility that way.

One of the only places in Panama where the old growth rain forest still exists. The rest has been cut down to make way for ranches and cows

Hi Lalo
that sounds graet. In summer i am travelling a lot because of my job, so maybe we meet up more than just once while you are in europe.
When will you continue your travel on the boat these days ?

The hot springs themselves were just ok.
They were small, shallow and hot.
Plus you had to pay 2 or 3 dollars a day to use them
But the cool thing about them is there is this friendly, wild monkey that hangs out there and she will take a dip with you
