Stupid GPS V Question

I just created a route with Mapsourse and City Select. I cliked on the waypoints on the map and the Mapsourse software autorouted to the point. The total route had about 16 waypoints. Well with in the limt of the GPS V. But when I up load the route I do not get the same route I plotted. It is different. Some sections are missing. Am I doing something wrong. Do I misunderstand how Mapsourse routes work with GPS V. Am I stupid (oops don't answer the last questiong).

You need to turn auto-recalculate off on the GPSV.

One of the limitations of the GPSV's autorouting is that it can only routes that are "here to there". No vias allowed. You can download them, but if you do a recalc it looses all your vias.

Is this a limitation of the other Garmins as well. When you route you can add multiple locations on the unit. Are you saying this does not transfer from Mapsourse. Also If I load a route from Mapsourse and I turn the Autorouting off. (which I am not sure I know how to do but will look). That I will get me route as planned in mapsourse or will I need to remake it.
