You'd be surprised after a factory tour or two in Taiwan or China when you
see a Kawasaki and similar bikes on the production line.. Kymco knows how to make good bikes.

![]() The new BMW scooter is designed and built by BMW. They designed the engine and tooling and comissioned Kymco to build it for them. Why, Kymco has been building engines for years for others, to include Honda, kawasaki, BMW, and others. They have proven their quality many times over. All the Japinese manufacturers now buy parts from Taiwan and China to include the $10,000 Suzuki Bergman 650 you ride, So don't throw stones.

Would you buy a BMW car/suv made in America? Or a Camry or Accord?
How about a Lincoln made in Mexico? How about a Buick made in Germany? By the way, you're from New York City, New Jersey? And you used a period instead of a comma and put the dollar sign at the end? Interesting. |

I am impressed with the new BMW Scooter. I presently ride a GL1800, but at age 70, I see one of those BMW's in my future, probably one or two years from now.
However, the switch from motorcycles to scooters will be very easy for me, since I developed my love of two wheels on a 1952 Allstate, then a new 1958 Allstate crusaire. It will be like my second childhood!!
