I have changed the tires on the moto. It is getting close to departure time! I have also cleaned the air filter and all the other PM stuff. This will be the first extended trip on this moto since the Yellowknife/Inuvik/Dead Horse ride last year. I still have a few things left to do!

The moto is loaded except for the laptop. I will take a quick 90 mile ride over to see my father before leaving, stopping by the cemetery in route. The I will return home have lunch and take care of a little banking business. This afternoon I will ride south to Greenville, MS and stay the night with Betty and Danny, leaving from there Friday morning to visit with Tracy and Madison in Dallas, TX. Schizzman and I will meet up Sunday morning and head to Mexico!




BTW, this picture was taken a few minutes ago! My cousin thought he saw something wrong with the first photo I posted. He saw that the grass was brown! It should have been, that picture was taken in 2010 when Sheryl and I were leaving on our first Mexico trip. I was too lazy to take a new picture the other day. I think the moto was cleaner back then! That is probably because it has not been washed since the first picture was taken!

Hey Billy! If you look at the bottom left of the picture, you can see some green grass!

I only rode 185 miles today. Went over to see Daddy and then run back by the house. From there, I went south to Greenville, MS to visit some friends and then spend the night with some other friends. Temps were running 99 to 103 as I headed south. 106 in traffic at Greenville! Enjoyed a great supper with watermelon for desert!
