Been trapped in a vacation with daily work around the house and crappy weather too boot... Another spring that I won't get to the Carolina Low Country....

Things tend to pile up over 10 years of being a dedicated hedonist with all my time off work.

Ah well...

I've been trying to understand the video camera my buddy H14 gave me nearly a year ago... I just never turned it on. Despite what I do for a living and for fun, I have a HATE HATE relationship with technology.
Well I was bored enough to put the video camera on my Tiger for an afternoon of riding.
You'll find that I am a much more aggressive drummer than a rider..

Guitarists are unlikely to kill you by darting out in front of you.

Plus, the Jack at the kit is 14 years younger than the jax in the saddle.

IF Rock music offends your senses, I recommend you turn the sound down.

This is the first video I shot....
I keep going back and forth about the motorcycle being heard during the music.

Doug that funky jive Jax, went great with the ride. Nice steady camera, where was it attached? Now if you could just get a mic set up back at the muffler tips!? Never could figure out where you were? JC

the video was nice and stable - the border jumped around a bit - did you do some kind of stabilization thing to make it that way?
Funny you should post this - I just bought a handlebar mount kit for my gopro. Now that I see your video I'm glad that I did.

Nice Jack. I've always preferred hearing the bike instead of music, but hearing both is pretty cool.

in the beginning shot you can see Prettyboy reservoir on the left.
First road is beckleysville just east of PrettyBoy..
Left onto Cotter
Left onto Clipper Mill across PB.
Left onto Gunpowder heading south.
camera off at Falls.

Sorry about your boy Trey... Hate to hear that he had a concussion.
But the field is still strong! Good racing last Saturday. .. Does suck that Reed is dropping out.

The border jump thing is yougoog's application for stabilizing an image. Pretty freaky, if you ask me... Not sure if I like it or not.

I am with you about the music. For me, it normally sucks and I really just want to hear the bike. I'm not sure if I would use anyone else's tunes for that reason.
