This is what SLiP210 does when Jax gets a flat.

That's my "this is looking like fuckin work" look.

Ok lurkers.... What the hell would you do, if you had axle grease coming out around the valve stem? What could cause this? I know.... a real brain teaser.

I call cheater...
Highbinder is the real mystery solver...
I put a little slime in the tubes of my knob tires when I put them in. But it didn't occur to me that this black greasy substance could be light green slime. It really looked, smelled, and felt like grease. Thanks to HB for the moral support, tools and work bench as I removed the tire.... EVEN then, as I had this greasy tire in my hands, I didn't suspect that it was anything but grease. then HB says: "did you say you put slime in the tube"?.... "That's what the grease is...." And he was spot on... the grease cleaned out of the tire with a garden hose. Mystery solved, beers and a wonderful dinner consumed... and there was much rejoicing.

After Dynamick hurt his ankle, and with the problems I was having with my rear tube, we decided to make for LD and HB's farm on the road. EddieBolted came with us and H14, SLiP and Scotty continued down the BRT>

I called LD to see if there was a place in her town to get a new tube and she found me one in a local shop only a few miles from her place!!! AWESOME DEAL. Thanks LD!!

A sublimely perfect day

When we arrived at LD's farm HB suggested that he escort me over to the shop to get my tube.... He rides Valkyries, the one he is on up front there is a black sorta nekked one that is friggin gorgeous.... trust me. That's Ed between us.

I just can't do it justice with any of the photos I took....

BUT Thank you Highbinder!!! You took care of me in grand fashion.

More in a bit....

This farm is genius. I loved all aspects of what LD and HB have built here.

H14 lead the ride on the BRT... He's great at this. Thanks Kevin.

Distracted by dinner..

LD set us UP!!!!!

The garden ready for planting:

Dynamick's ankle looked good the next morning.... CRAP (in hindsight) Cuz it wasn't good. The man is about to head off to Indiana for another 700 miles. And worked through the pain until he got home several days later.

I liked it.........it could be about 3-6" taller in the legs for geezers getting up. It still sits higher than a Kermit.

Nice report Jack!!!

I too have been eyeballing one too... From REI or from Micky's outfit...
I don't have to worry about the weight limit

But HB said it is way to low...Just as Scotty said..

But I bet one of us could figure to add a few inches to it ..
With some old poles hanging around...

Let me jump in at the end...

I was enjoying the sunlight in that picture. The helinox chair could be better with a set of leg extensions but as is it's perfect. And if you find the need to elevate, more perfect.
Packs small and fast, set up is quick. A little spendy but if you keep it and use it the cost becomes justified. (my 2cents)

Hey y'all
Mind if I post up some pictures?

Thanks Tom. Yes, I'm so cheap that I strap the tiger's bag on my 650.

It folds up to nothing, but even though it is rated to hold around 70 pounds more than my ass weighs I could not bring myself to get in it. Those spindly little legs would have to defy the physical universe (as I see it) to support my fat ass. And my knees would not enjoy hoisting my but outta the thing. It wouldn't be good for soft ground either, looks like the legs would sink right in soft or wet dirt or sand.

I'll get on with the story in a bit... I went to Michaux yesterday, so there will be a brief intermission.

I don't care what anybody thinks. BY ALL MEANS, post as many photos as you wish.

This thread isn't a Democracy... Although, I'm a benevolent dictator. ..... Has both dick and tater. How could you go wrong.
