Nice photos! I am sorry I didn't get to BYOB. I have spent precious little time in that area of the Commonwealth.

Jax, if you like fishing now is the time to walk around the lake and GPS all the rock piles, deadfalls etc for the when the lake is full and you head out fishing!

Why no pets on the lake? I would understand if it said no clowns.

I hadn't been there since high school. It was a bit weird to see it empty. I'll stop in to see how it returns.

BYOB was a good time. I'm with you about not spending enough time up there. Especially with a bike. I was lucky enough to get back there last weekend.

Wykoff is a great little road. After more than 20 years of going up that way, I have yet to see an elk. I only recently started looking though.

Did I ever share this with you? If I didn't, sorry about that. I found that many folks appreciate the story.
You standing and listening the day I shared it with you is an honor to me and him in a great way.

.
I usually see them just past what would/could be on the back side of a sign like this. Seriously if you do want to see them sometime. Check around Bennezette. They're walking around town there some days.

I rode over to Benne in the end of June, while up there for BYOB. Even went to the "Viewing area" and bupkis.
I did get an elk burger in Emporium, if that counts for anything.

Thank you Jeff. :
It's important for me to share my Father's story.
It is still evolving, and I'm hoping to see Dr. Jones again sometime. I'll let you know when I edit the story.
