Well, I was honestly surprised to hear that CFA had been accused of promoting a "Kill the Gays" bill in Uganda (back in 2009, I guess?). I get exposed to a pretty wide variety of media and I hadn't heard anything about it. I did some frantic Googling and honestly, it looks like the charges came from radical activists. In any case, they appear to have been debunked when it was found the lobbying by the FRC was being twisted to appear as though they were doing something they really weren't. If there were any substance to the whole thing, I'm confident the major media would have been all over it; but it's on the fringe.

I have a lot of trouble believing the Cathy family would advocate for the murder of other human beings and the effort to paint the US as a hotbed of murderous homosexual hate simply does not hold water.

On the other hand, I found this little tidbit during my research;

It seems the homosexual community around the world has a lot more to worry about than what my avatar looks like. Talk about (yet another) reason to get the US out of the UN...
