Not that I don't trust Todd, but I can get this stuff in Baltimore and deliver to CCC.

Lemme know Carol.

Carol Ann and I attended Rick's RDV a couple weeks ago. I posted all the portraits I took over in Red Bud's picture thread, http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=979150

so I won't post them again here.

If you haven't tried the Waterwheel Cafe on 19E south of Hampton, stop in some time, the fare was pretty acceptable.

Gaston Gagne and I had been talking about taking a ride together some time, but things hadn't worked out until now. Being from the area, he took me on a tour of some of the local back roads.

We went as far as we could on this one.

This should take us back to the paved road.

Once this road started going downhill, it started going down hill. This is not the worst of it...

About as rough as I want to do on the Wee, let's just say I'm glad I have a bash plate, there's a couple new dings in it.

We rode around in some Christmas tree ranches and took in some nice scenery.

Grandfather and Grandmother off in the distance.

Nice spot to return to the Earth...

Waterfall in there somewhere. I didn't know where I was most of the day; you know how it is when you're just following someone around.

This might be Linville Gorge, or close to it.

Some other knob.

Heck, those last two shots might be the same feature from a different angle, I don't really know for sure.

The man does pretty good on a Versys with street tires.

Thanks for the ride and photos! That was fun stuff all around. The grass in the Christmas tree fields had me a bit confused.

I guess we can't get enough, so off to Harrisonburg to be surrounded by beautiful weather, farms, great people and good food.

From the trip home;

If you haven't eaten at the Country Cafe in Hot Springs, make a point of it when you get a chance.

When traveling north/south in Virginia, do not underestimate the farmlandy, curvy, open fielded, shaded tunneled, mountainous vallied motorcyclists utopia of US 220 between Franklin, WV and Covington, Va.

The BRP takes a back seat, even with views like this;
