Yes ... I have that on my list of things to do....
I know how to do it in principle, just need to make sure I have the right stuff in the tool bag to make it happen!

I did it Saturday in the mountains with a Leatherman tool.
I am going to build the bypass cable with the old parts and put it somewhere on the bike so I can swap it
even without my tankbag tool kit.
Piece of cake when you know the procedure, but you're walking if you don't!
And that is a long walk! LOL!
