Wonderful!
Kudos to you and your grandfather for living out your dreams! Beautiful pictures and a great ride report. I hope to be doing rides with my sons when I am in my 80's. Thanks for the inspiration and idea!

What a beautiful report! You will treasure those memories forever. As a grandfather who rides with his grandson who's bound for the USMC, it was especially moving to me. Keep it up for as long as you can.

that's awesome! I had an atv trip with my grandfather that I still cherish to this day, he didn't live nearly as long as your Grandfather did so you are a lucky man to get to do the trip at that age! I kept thinking this was going to be a story of you taking him on a 2 up ride!

That's great that ya'll can do that together. I'm only 57 and riding a VFR kills my back and arms. You've got one special grandfather.

Update... The VFRs are sold. I sold mine Monday two weeks ago and he sold his the following Friday. I picked up a 2007 dl650 and he got a 2011 fz6r. We are both happy and have started planning our spring trip. Pics forthcoming.
