Why do you think the Bordone Ferrari bike wasn't finished in time?

I do like how Honda copied the 'see through' fairing though :) I hear revision number 2 of the HRC bike has taken it's design cue's from the BMW GS1200 range... With a little JVO thrown in for good measure :)

As long as they don't take too many design cues from this...

Isn't that the new design of the JVO kits? That is what Belaustegui was showing for his KTM150 for Dakar 2013.

I should say, that is the design of the kit that will be adorning LB's KTM150. Looks a little better in design than in practice, but what do I know?
