Bards of the Bush Rally - 30th Nov - 1st Dec 2013

Claiming the date for this year's Bards of the Bush poetry rally @ Micalong Creek, NSW.

Usual poetry, yarns [biggest bullshit award?] & other cultural things?

A laid-back rally on the banks of Micalong Creek, same as last year
Cheers

Couldn't afford a 'GSA', so now it's an 'XSA' "I didn't do it! & whoever said I did, is a liar!"

Thumb First submission...

It's a long and arduous ride out to Micalong fella's... So best have your bikeshorts/undies prepared and readied in order for the big event!

The ADVRiders ode to jockrash...

While out riding with your mates,
you will surely hear,
"Christ me jocks are ridin’ up!
… can we stop for a beer!?"
It's not as strange as it may seem,
Though this some may refute.
Jock itch is just a good excuse,
to stop and splash the boots.

If you're out riding in the heat,
I'm sure you’ve heard the news?
That cream and talc gets messy;
when it’s time for number two’s!
Nylon shorts are NOT the go,
to wick away the sweat.
Old jocks don't work… they ride right up,
on that I’m game to bet.

And then I found the savior,
for me weary aching crack.
A pair of coolmax cyclin’ shorts,
with the paddin’ in the back.
For there is nothing worser,
when your opening a gate,
than soggy cotton boxers
all a-chafin’ up ya’ date!

Cycling-undies do the job,
I’ll state with great relief.
No more monkey-butt on yer arse,
It’s pleasant beyond belief.
Now don't ask me… for I don't know,
Who came upon this role,
I’m just glad to wear them,
And so’s me poor a##hole.

Leave my beard out of this, hasn't grown enough to trim,
Bev decided she'd keep it trimmed short, think this has been forgotten lately with the cold weather, starting to look like the mad professor, haven't had a haircut for four months!!!!
Cheers
